Principal's Message

Dear Fairview PK-8 Families and Community,

Welcome to the 2026-2027 school year! I am beyond thrilled to return for my second year as your Principal alongside Assistant Principal Meghan Morelli. My heart is so full reflecting on everything our students, staff, and families
accomplished together last year. I hold a deep love and appreciation for this incredible school community, and I am eager to hit the ground running as we continue to grow and strengthen our Fairview presence in Westminster Public
Schools.

This letter is the first of many communications I will be sending home throughout the school year. My goal is to make sure you are informed and aware of everything happening in your students’ school day. Please make sure we have
the most up-to-date information in Infinite Campus so you can get my weekly newsletters of important announcements for the following week. Another mode of communication will be through Class Dojo, so please make sure you sign up
through your student’s teacher at Back to School Night! 

We are proud to keep beloved traditions and strong positive supports going strongthis year:
     ● Monthly Family Engagement Nights: Joining together to build connection, joy, and community outside of the regular school day.
     ● Middle School Eligibility Events: Monthly incentives that encourage our middle schoolers to maintain high academic and behavioral standards as they prepare for high school.
     ● PBIS Rewards & Celebrations: Recognizing students who uphold our RISE values (Respect, Integrity, Service, and Excellence) with weekly Dojo pointsand special monthly rewards.
     ● Dragon of the Month: Celebrated on the first Thursday of every month, where teachers highlight students who consistently model exemplary RISE behavior.

While we are moving away from our Dragon Dens this year, we have channeled that energy into physical upgrades across our campus to expand student leadership and enhance our outdoor space:
     ● Thriving Community Garden: A vibrant new space where students can gain hands-on experience, practice stewardship, and see their hard work grow.
     ● Covered Outdoor Seating Area: A brand-new shaded seating space on the grounds, providing our students with a comfortable area to relax, socialise, and enjoy shade during recess.
     ● Newly Planted Trees: Added native trees along both the front entrance and back grounds to enhance natural shade, greenery, and environmental beauty.

We invite you to be an active part of our growth by joining us for Face to Face with Fairview Families. We meet on the third Wednesday of every month from 8:30 AM – 9:30 AM to collaborate, share ideas, and elevate every voice in our
community.
