FAIRVIEW RECOGNIZED FOR ‘SAFE, SUPPORTIVE AND COLLABORATIVE CULTURE
It was a proud moment for the students and staff at Fairview Elementary as the school received Level One Certification from Marzano Academies for creating a successful learning environment for all children.
Fairview is just the latest WPS school to receive Level One Certification, the first step in earning designation as a High Reliability School (HRS). The district has set a goal for all schools to achieve high-reliability status as quickly as possible.
The Marzano High Reliability Schools (HRS) framework concentrates on five key areas of operation:
- Safe, Supportive, and Collaborative Culture
- Effective Teaching in Every Classroom
- Guaranteed and Viable Curriculum
- Standards-Referenced Reporting
- Competency-Based Education
John E Flynn A Marzano Academy is the first school in the country to receive level 5 certification.
